This Spring half-term 2 our topic is 'People Who Help Us'. We have talked about people who help us in school and in our community. We have had two very exciting visits already. Two nurses spoke to us about their jobs and we asked questions about how they help people. We then had a visit from a paramedic. The children listened very carefully and again asked great questions. We even had a chance to look inside the ambulance. 

Our topic this Spring half-term 1 is Winter. We have explored ice. We left water in different-sized trays outside to freeze in cold weather. The children observed what happened when it gets warmer outside or when they touch the ice with their warm hands.

In PE this half-term, we will develop our gymnastic skills. We have explored creating shapes, balances, and jumps and begin to develop rocking and rolling. We have performed our skills on both floor and apparatus.
